Terms of Service

Please review the rules governing your use of Kumiho.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Kumiho, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you are inviting Kumiho to a server, you represent that you have the necessary administrative permissions to do so and to bind that community to these terms.

2. Usage Policy & Prohibitions

To maintain the integrity of the Kumiho ecosystem, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Exploitation: Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or "farm" bot systems (such as XP, leveling, or economy) through automated means or scripts.
  • Abuse: Using the bot to harass, threaten, or violate the Discord Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • Content Standards: Any custom background or asset uploaded to Kumiho must not contain explicit (NSFW), hateful, or illegal content.
  • Automated Scanning: You acknowledge that Kumiho uses AI-based automated scanning to verify compliance with these Content Standards.
  • Self-Promotion: Using Kumiho's automated systems (like Greet messages) to spread malware, phishing links, or unauthorized advertisements.

3. Administrator Responsibility & Disciplinary Action

As a server administrator, you are solely responsible for how Kumiho is configured within your community.

  • Custom Content: All text, embeds, and assets configured via the Dashboard must comply with legal standards.
  • Image Suspension: If an uploaded asset fails automated or manual safety checks, the associated User Account may be immediately and permanently suspended from using Kumiho's image features.
  • Staff Accountability: You are responsible for the actions of your staff members who have access to the Kumiho Dashboard. We provide Internal Audit Logs to help you maintain this oversight.

4. Service Availability & "As-Is" Provision

Kumiho is a complex magical construct provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

  • Uptime: While we aim for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Data Loss: In the rare event of a database anomaly or spiritual disturbance resulting in data loss, Kumiho and its developers shall not be held liable. We provide Data Safety Windows (7-day grace periods) and 7-day retention for transcripts to mitigate these risks.

5. Termination of Access

Violation of these terms may result in a permanent blacklist from the Kumiho ecosystem. Uploading explicit content to Kumiho's servers is grounds for an immediate and irreversible ban.

6. Modifications to Service

Kumiho is in a state of constant evolution. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features (including the Dashboard or specific bot commands) at any time to improve performance or security.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from the use of Kumiho will be handled through our official Support channels.
