Kumiho operates under a 'Privacy First' philosophy, treating the data of your sanctuary with the same reverence as a sacred text. This policy outlines how we collect, store, and utilize the digital resonance of your community to provide our premium services while maintaining absolute sovereignty over your information.

We believe that data clarity is essential for a premium experience. Unlike public bot services, Kumiho does not aggregate data for third-party analysis or advertising. Our business model is built on exclusivity and technical excellence, not the commodification of your community's interactions.

Data Collection Methodology

We collect information through three primary vectors: sanctuary discovery, user interaction, and dashboard synchronization. Sanctuary discovery involves indexing basic guild metadata (ID, name, icon) to allow for localized theme application and module configuration.

User interaction data is processed by our leveling and moderation engines. This includes user IDs, message lengths (for XP calculation), and interaction timestamps. This data is essential for maintaining the 'Stability' and 'Registry' modules you see in your administrative dashboard.

Dashboard synchronization occurs when users log in via Discord. We utilize secure OAuth2 leylines to verify identity and clearance levels. We only request the minimum required scopes ('identify', 'guilds') to ensure the security of your account and the integrity of the dashboard.

Data Storage and Encryption

All data collected is stored in encrypted SQL scrolls, protected by multiple layers of technical guards. We utilize industry-standard cryptographic protocols to ensure that even in the event of a theoretical temporal breach, the information remains unreadable to unauthorized entities.

Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, high-performance nodes with strictly controlled access. Only authorized developers within the Kumiho Network have the clearance to view raw data, and only when necessary for technical maintenance or debugging.

Data Deletion and Sovereignty

You retain absolute sovereignty over your sanctuary's data. Administrators may request a complete 'Blackout Purge' at any time. This process expunges all records associated with your guild and its users from our leylines, ensuring no digital footprint remains.

For individual users, we provide the ability to request data deletion via their sanctuary's administrative team. Once a request is authenticated, our system executes a targeted purge of the user's interaction logs, XP records, and metadata within 48 hours.

In accordance with our privacy philosophy, we also perform regular 'Dormancy Purges.' Data associated with sanctuaries that have been disconnected from the network for more than 90 days is automatically expunged to minimize our digital surface area and maximize privacy.
